The lavish 1500 sq. Ft apartment located on the 23rd floor of Panchashil Towers in Pune looks over the natural view of the city and is designed for a family of 3 with a bold sophisticated style. The layout itself had a good natural light source and large windows in every room which opened to the city making justice to its planning.  The clients had extremely active lives and desired a contemporary and restful home that was stimulating to the eyes.

The only brief given by the client was that they needed ample storage but at the same time, the design needed to be clear and simple but luxurious and exquisite. The idea was to envision a home that serves a sense of stability, balance and comfort amidst a chaotic urban lifestyle.

The entrance foyer had a bold-looking shoe rack, which was in a glossy black finish to create a sense of luxury. The wall in front of the main door was finished in black Italian marble which continued throughout the dining area to complete the luxury statement. The passage next takes you to the large living room connected to the terrace which opened out to a tranquil view of the cityscape.  The neutral-coloured sofa of the living room paired with a lovely Tan leather accent chair complimented the wallpaper behind the sofa. The total setup of living turns out to be the awe of the space. The dining area softens the look with champagne-coloured chairs and a marble-top dining table and the black Italian tile panelled wall at its back. The hanging light in the dining completes the calm look of the space. The passage area which also serves as a small family space has a curved sofa which adds drama to the space. The other wall in front of this seating is a complete storage unit that is hidden and the doors are treated as a panelled fabric partition.  Each of the three bedrooms has been designed with a unique character emulating the taste of the end user. The master bedroom is sophisticated and luxurious in terms of its material and colour palette. Bold yet relaxing is what clients had mentioned. Mirror-panelled doors of the walk-in closet create the expansive look of the space. A study table in one corner and a console table in the other filled the room with convenience and daily purpose. Mother's room was thoughtfully designed to embrace you like a warm hug and soothe you with a sense of comfort and relaxation. The guest room was again kept simple with minimal furniture and lighter tones of greys.

Whether you are entertaining guests or simply unwinding after a long day this home is the perfect retreat.
