Spread over a span of 1700 sq.ft., designed for extremely light minded and laissez faire clients this special project made us take an unconventional and simplistic design approach that we then called "The Fringed Seranade". Here is a space that basks in hints of pretty pastels with fringed edges glaring in flair, Where the bishop has its own tale to share, We take you through this space that glows and blushes in the lightness of colours and austerity of forms.
With an idea of doing unconventional with simple designs, we used various forms that muse away with day to day requirements giving emergence to furniture pieces that create their own identity. Just like in the living room, a mere sketch of a bishop converted to a credenza that not just bifurcates the living dining spaces but also fulfils their storage requirement.
While the daughter's room sees a berserk flow of mystic blue through all the walls and ceiling beautifully complimenting the cherry blossom hand painted wardrobes. Be it the fawn green in the sons room with intricate fluted details on the wardrobe or the minimal cane look in the parents room against a krsna mehta wallpaper. the whole house flaunts a subtle harmony of pastels and fringed edges where forms and barreled shapes play their own important role.
