The Shankar Residence, located in the heart of Chennai, was completed in 2022 and showcases a harmonious blend of traditional Kerala and Tamil Nadu design concepts. The flooring features cotta stone with accents of floral tile patterns, adding a distinct charm to the space. This three-story home includes one bedroom on the ground floor, three on the first floor, and one on the third, each with attached bathrooms. The sit-out area is enhanced by the use of 200-year-old wooden pillars sourced from Chettinad, adding a sense of heritage. The front door, a key highlight, also features intricate hand-carved details, similarly sourced from Chettinad, further enriching the home’s traditional aesthetic.
