The client's brief was to "design a home with minimal and clean aesthetics", with elements from their childhood homes. The walls restraining the spaces were demolished to form free flowing spaces that form the crux of the design. The result is a seamless living-dining-kitchen space where conversations are easy and interactions better. The material palette is mosaic for flooring and warm lime plaster for walls. The usage of teak wood and cane in the decor is reminiscent of the nostalgic traditional homes of the clients.
