“A sharp lined rugged bare shell with surprisingly lush views outside” – First impression perceived of the site.  A design approach directed at a more open office nature yet maintaining a corporate work style. In a fairly square floor plate, the existing structural projections get camouflaged within design elements offering a clean canvas.

The overall floor transitions from public to private space in a subtle manner. “Interactions” evolve from casual round table discussions to transparent pod to conference room as one walks in. Unlike a conventional meeting room, the designed teakwood pod - placed at a twisted angle - sits elegantly over the entire space, breaking the sharpness in volume. This significant twist consciously generates corner pockets which act as breakout space for both meeting spaces. Additionally, this angle cuts off the visibility of private conference room from the entry waiting lounge. The division of spaces does not hinder the visibility at any point across the office with introduction of landscape elements for partial privacy.

Minimal earthy material palette with concrete floor, teak wood and landscape along with white makes the overall space experience opulent. A minimal open office with detailed spatial planning, balanced material use and conscious capturing of view escalates the “Lines” and the “Twist”
