Cha Angadi is an upcoming chain of outlets catering to a variety of tea brews. It is designed to be sustainable and quirky with two outlets located in the bustling streets of Jayanagar and Koramangala.

The outlet is designed as a stand-alone structure in mild steel, making it easier to dismantle and reinstall at will. This structure opens up to the street attracting pedestrians with its bright and quirky ambience. The structure can be completely closed while not in use, thereby giving it a feel of a container.

The choice of colors was an extremely important aspect to ensure the complete built form looked attractive and stood out in the busy streets the outlets are located in. All the elements in the design are visualized based on the architectural principles of contrast, rhythm and repetition that blend in beautifully to create a sleek and innovative outlet. Great care has been taken in small details to ensure the look is complete and trendy. The customized kettle lights add a fun element to the space.

The available space of 162 sqft. has been divided based on zoning which strikes a fine balance between the public, semi private and private spaces. This zoning provides a seamless connection between the various steps in the food and beverage production process.

These outlets are constructed without wet masonry and the entire structure is made of mild steel, a box section of 50x50 mm and plate of 6 mm thickness. Factoring in the future expansion, the store design has been kept simple to ensure it can be replicated at multiple locations with ease at a quick turnaround time.

The skylight designed in the public space of the outlet ensures the area is well lit with natural light. The yellow niches provided for storage against the teal blue paneling ensures they are highlighted and eye catchy. The yellow supports against the teal blue paneling is based on the principle of contrast, becoming a characteristic feature of the easy-to-build structure.
