The main requirements of the client was a functional yet simple house with four bedrooms, kitchen, dining and living area. The residence consists of three blocks separated with tiny gardens and a shallow pond. A subtle theme is followed in the house with exterior form in textured greys and whites. The blocks have quadrilateral outlines protruding from the core.

The middle block is the semi-public zone with a living and dining area. It is accessed through a small north-facing foyer with seating facility. Vertical slits on the wall decorates the interior with bright lines of light. The interior is finished in shades of brown on the sofa, dining furniture and staircase. A sleek metal stairs with cantilevered wooden treads gives access to the two bedrooms in the upper storey. The western block consists of two bedrooms each on both floors with attached bathrooms. The bedrooms have varying sizes of openings to allow in ample amount of light while maintaining privacy and security. Wooden flooring, minimal wooden beds and slender hanging lights gives the bedrooms a simple yet classy finish. 

The eastern block is single-storeyed and houses a pantry and kitchen with a breakfast counter. The kitchen connects to the outdoor for utility purposes. The kitchen is finished with white laminate and veneer shelves and a white tiled countertop. A single red bar stool among the blacks, browns and greys stand out in a stunning display of contrast. Easy-to-maintain house plants like pothos and areca palm have been added in various corners to bring in good quality air and freshness to the house.
