The home designed by Pranjal Agrawal Design Studio for a young couple in Indore is a bespoke house in tones of grey. With a home office on the ground floor and the home starting from the first floor, the complete space is seamlessly bound by the neutral color palette. The brief of the couple was to design a space that gives them a holiday home feel. Keeping in the mind the design brief, the play of patterned flooring in the staircase and throughout the house is winning their hearts. The house is woven with ample natural light and air and the use of soft floral fabrics with a mix of wooden flooring gives it a modern yet cozy feel. Its open planned areas are inviting with a splash of greenery spread throughout the house in a mix of artificial and natural plants epitomizes the love for nature of the couple residing in the house while also giving it a fresh feel.
On the other hand the Office is incorporated with raw and industrial nature into the materiality. Office includes a director's cabin, visitors lounge, accounts room and workstation. With open spatial planning use of muted tones and natural light with rigid palette of industrial decor. Sleek glass partition that is detailed in a black aluminium grid that is used to enclose the private zones. Concrete grey flooring covers the entire floor space which regulates the acoustics of the space.
