This virtual walk around Wrigley Field includes fascinating facts about the architecture surrounding Chicago’s beloved “friendly confines.” Wrigleyville, the neighborhood named for the stadium, has seen significant changes in recent years. CAC Docent Council President Kent Foutty begins this tour in front of the home of the Chicago Cubs, discussing its famous marquee, the field’s storied past and its recent renovations. Foutty also highlights new developments to the south and west of Wrigley Field and shares the stories of some of its older neighbors, including a firehouse just beyond left field.
